Prerequisites
- Atlan workspace with API access enabled
- Atlan Personal Access Token (PAT) or service account token with
assets:readandassets:writepermissions - Prizm instance reachable from the Atlan webhook endpoint (or Prizm configured to push to Atlan)
Connect Prizm to Atlan
- In Prizm, go to Settings → Integrations and click Add Integration.
- Select Atlan from the catalog integrations list.
- Enter your Atlan Workspace URL (e.g.,
https://your-org.atlan.com). - Paste your API Token (Personal Access Token from Atlan → API Keys).
- Click Test Connection to validate.
- Click Save.

Lineage Sync
Once connected, Prizm writes column-level and table-level lineage computed from your connectors into corresponding Atlan assets. Lineage is matched by asset qualified name.Prizm lineage sync is additive — it does not overwrite lineage already defined in Atlan from other sources (e.g., dbt, Fivetran).
Active Metadata Propagation
Prizm pushes the following metadata to Atlan assets on each sync:| Metadata | Description |
